T’s UP to Mark Levin and Down to Sean Hannity

Thumbs Up, Mark Levin is an American guy with an agenda of clearing out and bringing light to the corrupt B.S. that takes place in this great country daily. He is the guy who is on the line for the regular American Citizen and not trying to sell a bunch of crap to get rich.

Oh sure he has a book to sell or maybe a few of them, I’m not sure. But one thing is different from the way Sean Hannity does it, he actually cares about what is going on in America and doesn’t give a rats ass if he walks away with a dime while doing it.

In my further oppinion, Sean Hannity on the other hand is one of those guys who is charging for Sign-Up on his site and selling what he can to line his wallet. He says he cares about America but when you go to his site to see what his spiel is all about they want you to register and pay $5.95 a month before you can hear any of his archived radio broadcasts.

Now either he is making millions from people wanting to hear his shows for $5.95 a month or he is just set on trying to make a buck. I doubt it’s millions so he would probably do better to drop the $5.95 charge per month and to make his material free. Then I may want to buy his book. NOT. By charging, he’s got as much of a chance to get rich as old Uncle Jed did while hunting for food. It isn’t likely to happen!

So listen up to Mark Levin, because he is the guy who is doing it for us for FREE and trying to make America a better place for all and for generations to come!

VISIT THE MARK LEVIN SHOW NOW! Check out his archived radio shows and his Web Site for FREE and see what he is all about!

Warning: The Loan Sharks are Coming!

Hurry, Get Out Of The Credit Pool!! Here come the Sharks.

Loan sharks are people who loan money at extremely high interest rates. They are usually unscrupulous individuals who loan money to needy individuals and expect usually 25% to 50% interest or more.

You must pay it all back, including the interest by a certain date or the interest increases. Failure to repay the debt usually results in property damage or physical harm to you or one of your loved ones.

Well a bank called the First Premier Bank has stepped into the class of being a loan shark. Led by Miles Beacom, CEO of Premier Bankcard and a South Dakota credit card marketer, the bank has decided to offer credit cards to high risk individuals with a $300 credit limit.

They are offering an extremely high interest rate of 59.9 to 79.9 percent annual percentage rate (APR) on these cards.

People, the highest any bank has charged any high risk individuals, is around 25%. They are charging more than three times that rate.

If you were to charge just $100 on the card you would then owe them $80 dollars on top of the hundred you charged and for each hundred that you charge. That is almost double the money you charge. That is more than most unscrupulous loan sharks would charge you and the banks are supposed to be licensed to do a fair business in this country.

OUTRAGEOUS! TO SAY THE LEAST!

Where the hell are all the citizen or consumer watchdog groups or consumer protection agencies in this country when we need them? What about the government stepping in to squash this unfair business dealing. This isn’t right America!

The sad part is that they have sent the offers around to people who are bad at managing credit and probably don’t understand what the term amounts actually mean to them and they said that the return from the offer was almost double over the return they get from their lower interest offers to less risky customers.

I’d say they are definitely sharks taking advantage of a group of consumers, who are definitely ill advised as to whether to accept an offer like that or not.

You know, things are really getting out of hand in the banking world and I sure hope some organization can stop these sharks from feeding on more of the poor people they are targeting with their get rich scheme, that is intended to make high rates like this look normal to everyone, so that more banks can jump their rates to the moon just like they did.

There has to be some kind of consumer law against a business doing something like this to the hard working people in America.  There has to be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, or God help us because the next depression will definitely end up being a recession! (That is if we don’t pull out of this one first.)

If your credit isn’t that good, you are better off getting a secured credit card and using that to build up your credit rating.

DO NOT ACCEPT ONE OF THE SHARK CARDS OR YOU WILL BE SHARK BAIT

CONSTRUCTION ZONES now TICKET ZONES

I don’t know if anyone else has experienced this lately, but it seems as if construction zones at least in Wayne County Michigan are being left up well after the construction is finished.

So do you think it is fair to get a speeding ticket if the signs remain up, even thought the barrels are now moved way off the road, the lights are no longer blinking, no one has worked at the site for months and only a couple pieces of rusting equipment remain as eyesores a safe distance from the road.

I bet that this is being used as a new form of revenue for the cities and counties that are issuing the tickets. Maybe the county doesn’t have the manpower to remove them, but they had the manpower to put them up when they wanted, didn’t they.

Sounds like a new style of money-making machine for the hard times many cities are experiencing during this recession. They need more money to balance their budgets and that’s how they are getting some extra funds.

They surely had the manpower to put up the 10 or 12 signs marking the construction and I bet they are easier to take down. So why do they still remain. No workers for almost two months and tickets are still being written.

I think that a good lawyer could fight those tickets and get them all thrown out, because in order to have a construction zone,  it seems there should have to be construction that is at least taking place and with legitimate intervals between construction phases, not months. A one month maximum stoppage of work should be the legal time frame for having to remove them or the counties should be ticketed by the state or federal government for Impeding Traffic!

When the road crews do this, they do not realize it but they actually create much more of a hazard for everyone, including their own families as well. Many of the motorists who decide to disobey the construction speed limit, get angry when they come up on someone who is and they start to tail gait you, almost pushing you and then decide to pass you unsafely, while flipping you their I.Q. level. If you have obeyed the law then you definitely have experienced this more than once in a vacant construction zone.

Someday, some innocent person or people are going to get killed by one of those jug-heads during one of these construction sleep overs and then the highway department will have to face the music for involuntarily injuring or killing a motorist!

Yet this continues to go on regularly. Maybe they have imposed a new law that allows for tickets anywhere construction has taken place. That must be it.

So watch your speed in those dead and deadly construction zones, or you might not notice who is getting ready to watch you open your purse or wallet. And don’t argue with the police officer about it, that may get you a bigger fine, if not thrown in jail, even if it is the highway department that they should be ticketing, not you.

Money Scams. Got Change for a Twenty?

September 17, 2009 Leave a comment

As old as the hills but coming back with vengeance, is the old quick change routine to make a fast buck.

These guys who practice these scams are nothing more than perfectionists at a lost art of scamming people out of money.

What they do is put something up on the counter and pay for it. Then they start this long process of getting change for a bigger bill and in the process they try to screw up the cashier to the point of giving them more than they deserve to get.

Times are getting tough for this scam to come back, so look out if someone asks you if you can break a twenty.

This video sorta reminded me of the money scam, but only with math and not bills.

The Ripoff Report is a site that many people use to vent their frustrations or problems they have had with a company or what they sell. It has thousands of reports to view.

The posts about the companies or items are in the words of the user, so that makes it very helpful to tell just what the person thought.

It’s a very popular site and I have used it to search many different companies that have offered jobs, only to find out that someone else had already been offered the job before me and got ripped off by them.

So any time you are in doubt to whether or not something is bogus, just click the following link below to find out just what others have already found out .

Watch your lottery tickets!

More and more people have heard of this and if it’s true you better watch out.

What’s happening is a scam by the sales clerks who are handed a lottery ticket and then asked to check to see if it is a winner.

What is going around, is that the clerk checks the ticket and throws it in the garbage while telling you it was not a winner, when in fact it actually is a winner. Then after you leave they turn it in and collect your winnings.

Do not do this. Simply ask for a printout of the winning numbers for that day, then take them home and see if you won. If you are unable to do this for yourself, then only have a close trusted friend or family member check or buy your tickets for you.

Remember you can get the winning numbers in all these places so you can check them for yourself if you are able.

  1. The TV. News. Usually that night or the next morning.
  2. The Newspapers. Usually the next day.
  3. The News Radio stations. Usually that night or the next day, once an hour.
  4. The Internet Lottery sites. Couple hours after a draw time, most have archives.
  5. Printed out from any lottery retailer. From the draw time, with archives.
  6. Your close friend or family members can get them for you.

So have fun and good luck . If you hit, I will ride shotgun when you go to collect.

Don’t be Afraid to Ask!

Seniors, you must realize one thing – There are many people out there who will take advantage of you because of your age! Sure you already know this, but that is why you should be getting at least three estimates before you pay anyone to do anything for you.

The TV shops are getting rich from seniors and the electronically challenged by charging high fees to come to you house and hook up your digital converter boxes. So shop around first.

This leads me back to the intro line of  Don’t be afraid to ask. If you call around to the trade schools, colleges or local businesses that deal in what you are looking to have done, you will more than likely find someone that will be willing to help you out, outside of school or work.

Call businesses and tell them you are in need of help and short of cash, because many will help you out anyway for a reduced fee, or for free depending on what you need done.

Be Very Careful Though, because you never want to invite anyone to your home unless you can have someone else there with you when they show up. Ask a friend or relative to come over a little before the appointment time and if they end up not coming over before the appointment time, then call the person back and cancel the appointment! You can set up a new appointment again, when someone you know will be there with you.

And remember, never pay in full in advance! Always set up the deal where you will pay only a portion up front and when the work is done to your satisfaction,  then you give them a check for the balance.

But don’t be afraid to ask for help from schools, businesses, government agencies, or from friends or relatives, because there are many kind people out there who still respect seniors and will help them out all they can. But like I mentioned above, beware of those looking to take advantage of you because you are a senior.

If you ever feel that you have been taken advantage of,  just look in government section in the front of your local phone book and call your State Attorney Generals Office. They will help you file a complaint or let you know who to file one with. It’s not that hard at all. Just let them know your problem and they will help you out.

Remember we are here to help on-line also! And if we can’t help, we will post your problem so maybe someone else can! So have someone you know contact us and we will try to Help Them, Help You! We support Seniors!

More loans are coming.

Well now in Washington, the big thing is freeing up the banks from all the dead properties so they can give out loans again to people. I have checked out some of  the public auctions for foreclosed properties and only a few of the properties were labeled as cash sale or cheep enough to pay cash for the property. These sales were put on by some of the big loan and mortgage companies in the U.S. and the big thing was all about signing up people for mortgages on these properties. So the government is trying to free up the banks so they can give loans,  while the banks are giving out loans and they are flying out the window. What the heck is the problem here. Doesn’t anyone in government even watch the news. That’s where I saw the stories at and I am sure  they have access to the same news reports that I watch.

I just don’t get it. All of these representatives and law makers are so sharp and up on things and yet they constantly let things like this happen. I don’t know about you but I think someone is asleep at the wheel half the time and the other half they are tuning the radio channel.

Come on, up there in Washington. What seems to be the problem.  Take a real look at what is really going on out here and how things are operating first and then go back and decide who needs what and when and how.  I think that they are so smart that they are like the smart kid in the class who was lazy and just wrote the report from memorized facts, but never got an A because they didn’t have references or made them up and the teacher knew it. They did the work from their memory and not from real facts they found and referenced too. They always got a A- or lower because they only did half of the job and fluffed the other half. The other half was getting up to date facts that may have changed from the facts they memorized.

This seems to be what our lawmakers are doing, right now. What they need to do is get out of the office and gather some recent facts on what they are working on and then maybe they would know how and what to do to actually fix the problems out here, instead of just throwing money out the window to whoever has the biggest hand sticking out at the time that wants some. Because it appears to be exactly what they are doing by having investors buy all the dead properties from the banks, so they can give loans that you can see they are already giving every day.  Hey maybe they know these private investors and the next big scandal will be how some of someones campaign supporters were the ones who actually get the properties for pennies on the dollar.

What they should be doing with all the properties is giving them back to the families who lost their jobs and homes but didn’t over mortgage causing them to loose their home. They would sign a note  promising to start paying for the house  when they were again gainfully employed ,  and the banks who are giving out the mortgages now, would then give these people a new loan. This way the Government would miss the scandal part all together.

Something has to be done people. I wonder what Old Rush Limbaugh would say about this.

Make Money on the Internet, Buyer Beware.

I don’t mind someone making a buck, hey after all, isn’t that something we could all use? We all have our hard times when a little extra cash could go a long way. This is usually what gets those savvy minds thinking up another way to make a buck. Hey that’s great and if it motivates someone to better them self, than so be it. There are many lucrative businesses online that can be very profitable if you are willing to spend some time at them. There are scams and there are real deals, the hard part is figuring out which are which.
You can do a search online for some money making opportunities and you will literally find millions that are ready and willing to have you climb aboard with them and make a go at it.
I have never climbed up the ladder of any of these.
A couple I have tried though, were the wrong kind.
Most of the real money makers will take a lot of hard work and dedication, if you are going to make money at them.
The others, tell you that you can make some serious money if you want to, but usually end up being money out of your pocket and money into theirs. You know, the ones that send you a red flag in the beginning, as being to good to be true. They have a huge add and when you finish reading it, you only have a vague idea of what it’s all about. Sometimes the price is scary at first, but then the farther on you read the more it drops, until anyone can afford it. Now I don’t know of every Get rich or Make money scheme out there but one thing I do know.
Greed is a major factor when people come into money and unless they love you dearly, they aren’t going to share their money making secrets with anybody. The only way that would ever happen, is if it starts to slow down. The difference is that the honest one’s will seek out a new opportunity, and drop or sell the old business idea outright.
The other ones are the kind that made money for 7 years and now suddenly out of the goodness of their heart and the generous individuals they are, they are now willing to tell you all of their secret money making ideas, that have made them rich. You with me so far, because here is where it gets interesting.
Their original scam is failing. Now they sell the failing Idea to you and a bunch of other people, and charge various fees along the way. They make a second round of cold hard cash and you get a scam that they wore out and is hard to make a buck at because everybody is doing it. Now don’t loose confidence in what you invested in, even if you worked your tail off trying. Your are making a little cash and constantly paying monthly fees to do it. Your not rich yet but hold on to your hat, because they are now going to offer you a real actual business, where you can make almost as much money as you want to! Great, so how do I sign up and what’s it all about? You sign up with your credit card and when you get all your materials to look over, you realize you have already paid them for the first worn out idea, and now your new business will be learning to sell that same worn out idea to others, just like they did to you! You will have to cough up some more serious money for that opportunity though. You see, someone who has made a lot of money is going to lead and tutor you in each step along the way, so you can’t fail, Guaranteed! This don’t come cheep folks! The rich guy is actually taking time away from his money making, to teach you how to make money and that’s going to cost.
So as you see, you have to examine closely any offers you may wish to partake in. Just keep in mind the factors, no matter how legitimate it may sound and you will do o.k.. No matter what it cost, do not part with any of your money, if they or their add doesn’t answer all of your questions upfront and you still are not sure of exactly what you are getting in to. Don’t pay first for any money maker, unless you are buying stock from a reputable company.
I asked one time, since he was being so generous and caring by wanting others to make money like him, could I get the training up front and when I got rich I would pay him back triple? He hung up on me! The kind and generous soul that wanted everyone to make loads of money like him, hung up on me!! So go now my destined to be poor souls and Get Rich Quick! – by/ Bankrupt No Option.
